If you are using Varnish Plus, you probably already know that Varnish delivers what it claims it will deliver - speed, performance, scalability, high availability and all the other good stuff Varnish Plus is known for. But, because you’re probably not a Varnish expert yourself, you might not recognize when and if your Varnish instance goes out of sync or when there could be infrastructure optimizations and VCL implementations that could be better.

A health check is something we routinely do for ourselves, our cars, and all kinds of other essential appliances. We try to monitor and get ahead of potential problems systematically and regularly.
