Thijs Feryn talking about common scenarios in VCL at the Varnish Summit

It is our pleasure to welcome back Thijs Feryn as a guest speaker at the upcoming Varnish Summit in Copenhagen on Thursday, 21st April.

About Thijs

Thijs Feryn is a technical evangelist at Combell, a Belgian web-hosting company. His goal is to bring technology to the people and people to technology. He focuses on bridging the gap between code and infrastructure. Thijs is also involved in many open source communities and leads the PHP Benelux community. He speaks, listens, writes, codes, teaches, organizes and we are looking forward to hearing him speak at the Varnish Summit in Copenhagen!

About his talk

At the Varnish Summit, Thijs will be talking about common scenarios in VCL, where he will share typical application-level situations that need to be tackled in VCL, for example dealing with slow backends or static content, cache purging strategies or setting up ESI.

We are looking forward to hearing about Thijs’s experience again - have your questions ready for Thijs and join us at the Varnish Summit in Copenhagen.
